Cancellation and Refund Policy:
1. Registration Cancellation by Participant
The deadline to receive a refund for your registration is 14 days before the event;
- Requests for a 50% refund are accepted more than 30 days before the event.
- Requests for a 25% refund are accepted between 30 and 15 days before the event.
- There will be no refund for cancellations made within 14 days of the event.
In case of cancellation, substitution will be permitted but the payment compensation arrangement will have to be agreed and completed between the original registrant and the substitute.
Substitution request should be made in writing by the original registrant to info@HRO.ae at least 14 days prior to the event so that the registration details can be assigned to the substitute. A confirmation email will be then sent to the substitute.
All refund requests must be made directly by the original registrant.
Refunds will not be provided for registrants who do not attend the event. We offer non-tangible irrevocable services so we do not issue refunds once the event has been delivered.
Notice of cancellation must be sent via e-mail to info@HRO.ae stating your name and unique registration number issued by the service provider.
A cancellation acknowledgement will be sent to you within two working days and the applicable fee refunded within 30 days, subject to this HRO policy. All refunds will be completed only through the original mode of payment.
As a customer, you are responsible for reviewing and understanding this cancellation and refund policy upon purchasing any service from our website.

2. Event Cancellation by Organiser
We reserve the right to cancel an event, even without prior notice, due to low enrolment or other circumstances, beyond our control, which would make the event non-viable.
If we cancel a scheduled event, a registered participant is eligible for a full registration fee refund. We accept no liability for travel or hotel costs, or any other additional costs incurred.
In case of cancellation, we will inform all registered participants directly via e-mail and post the event cancellation on our website.
3. Event Modification by Organiser:
Note that circumstances beyond our control may necessitate substitutions or alterations of the speakers or the topic of the planned event. Therefore, we reserve the right to alter or modify the advertised speakers or topics if necessary.
Any substitutions or alterations to the planned event will be updated on our website as soon as possible. All registered participants will also receive an email update of the aforementioned changes.
Your registration is not completed until a full payment has been received. A non-payment status will result in non-admittance of the person(s) to the event.
We accept payments online using Visa and MasterCard credit cards in AED currency. Payments may be completed using either Visa or MasterCard with the submission of a completed registration form. All online payments are processed through PayTabs which is a secure external payment gateway provider in the UAE.
We take your privacy seriously and will take every measure to protect your personal information.
Any personal information received will be used only to complete your purchase order and registration. We will not sell or redistribute your personal information to any third party. All credit cards details and personally identifiable information will NOT be stored, sold, shared, rented or leased to any third parties.
This website policy and these terms & conditions may change or be updated occasionally to meet the requirements and standards. Therefore, the customers are encouraged to frequently visit this section in order to be updated about the changes on the website. Modifications will be effective on the day they are posted.
Terms and Conditions:
Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this website shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the UAE since the United Arab of Emirates is our country of domicile.
Minors under the age of 18 are prohibited to register as a user or a subscriber of this website and are not allowed to transact or use the website.
If you make a payment for our products or services on our website, the details you are asked to submit will be provided directly to our payment provider via a secured connection.
The cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records and HRO Professional Development policy and rules.
HRO Professional Development (www.HRO.ae) will NOT deal or provide any services or products to any of OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions countries in accordance with the law of UAE.
Multiple transactions may result in multiple postings to the cardholder’s monthly statement.
